Effective October 2026 · Draft pending legal review
This policy explains how Thundering Technologies LLC ("Thundering", "we") handles personal information collected through thunderingtechnologies.com (the "Site"). It does not cover data our clients process in Titan. That data is governed by each client's agreement with us, including its Data Processing Agreement.
Information we collect
- Information you give us, such as your name, work email, company, role, file volume and any message you send through a form or by email.
- Information collected automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit, recorded in server logs and privacy-friendly analytics.
- Cookies. The Site uses only the cookies it needs to work. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
- Site analytics, without cookies. We use Microsoft Azure Application Insights to understand how the Site is used. It is set up to store nothing in your browser: no cookies, no local storage. It records the pages you view, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, and your country or region, which Azure works out from your IP address without keeping the address. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics does not run, and nothing about your demo acceptance or viewing is sent to it either (we still keep the record of them described below).
- Local storage. When you close the notice about our Terms of Use, the Site remembers that in your browser's local storage so it does not show the notice again. While you watch the demo films, your access is kept in the browser tab's session storage for up to two hours.
When you request access to our demo films, we record your name, company, title, email, IP address, browser, the time you accepted and the version of the Titan Demo Confidentiality Agreement you accepted, to protect our confidential information and to follow up with you. While you watch, we record which films you play, how far through each you get (25, 50, 75 and 100 per cent) and when. When a viewer reaches 75 per cent of a film, we send ourselves an email naming the viewer, their title and company, and the film. The films carry a watermark with your email and the date.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and schedule demonstrations.
- To send information you ask for about Titan.
- To keep the Site secure and working, and to understand how it is used so we can improve it.
- To meet legal obligations.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure), our email provider, and Formspree, which receives and delivers to us, on our behalf and under obligations to protect it, the messages you send through the Site's demo request form (your name, work email, company, role, file volume and message) a notice of each request for access to our demo films (your name, company, title, email, IP address and the time you accepted the Titan Demo Confidentiality Agreement), and a notice when a viewer reaches 75 per cent of a film (their name, title, company, email and the film); Microsoft, which runs Azure Application Insights for our site analytics and holds, for our activity dashboard, a copy of each demo acceptance and viewing milestone (name, company, title, email, film and how far you watched) for 30 days; when the law requires it; or as part of a merger or sale of our business, where the information stays protected by this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond and follow up, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer.
Security
We protect personal information with encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive personal or financial information through Site forms.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you emails, by writing to support@thunderingtechnologies.com. Depending on the state where you live, you may have additional rights, and we will honor requests as the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when it last changed.
